Soumen brings over 3 decades of experience in Wind Energy, Automotive, and Engineering Industries and presently working as a Senior Consultant at Kaizen Institute (KI) Asia. He holds Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from NIT, Rourkela, and a Master’s degree in Electrical from IIT, Kharagpur. He is passionate about empowering organizations to achieve ground-breaking results using quality, operational excellence, and lean transformation methodologies.

Prior to working at KI, he has worked in big matrixed global organization (Tata Motors, General Electric, General Motors and Vestas) in diverse areas such as Shop floors, Research labs, Engineering and Quality amongst others, hence brings a blend of both technical and operational excellence skills.

He has Authored/Coauthored 23 technical patents and published papers and presented at various national and international forums on innovation, data analytics, operational excellence and project management. He has served as a pro bono board member of PMI Bangalore Chapter, India and APQP4Wind Country ambassador for India by APQP4Wind.org in the past.
