Ranmore currently heads the Business Process Re-engineering unit at Seylan Bank. He is an expert in the practical application of Lean for problem solving and creating operational excellence within the banking and financial service industry.

Having started his banking career at HSBC, Ranmore excelled in operations as a section coach/ auditor and was first introduced to Lean Six Sigma at an Yellow Belt level.

Ranmore played a key role in the Lean transformation of Nations Trust Bank from 2013 to 2018. Having received hands-on training in the application of Lean by the Boston Consulting Group and kinetik solution ltd (UK), Ranmore was instrumental in introducing Lean White Belt, Yellow Belt and Green Belt certification programmes at Nations Trust Bank and was the lead trainer during his tenure at the bank. Ranmore also spearheaded many successful Lean transformation projects covering business areas such as Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Credit Cards, Leasing, Centralized Credit Processing, Procurement and Services resulting in capacity creation, turnaround time reduction, cost reduction and revenue generation.

Ranmore also served as Director/ Senior Consultant at StrEdge from 2018 to 2021 where he helped local state banks, commercial banks, specialized banks, non banking financial institutes, overseas banks, trading and manufacturing organizations unleash their true potential through the application of Lean and strategy consultation.

Ranmore has overall trained, project mentored and certified more than 500 individuals in the area of Lean Six Sigma at White Belt, Yellow Belt and Green Belt levels across multiple organizations.

Keeping up with new technology, Ranmore has been a mentor for Lean and Tech hackathons. He is also an experienced programme manager in the areas of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and operational workflow system implementations.

Ranmore holds a Master of Business Administration degree and is certified in Lean Six Sigma at Master Black Belt, Black Belt, Green Belt levels. His qualifications coupled with more than 18 years of experience in Operations, Internal Auditing, Process Improvement, Project Management, Business Strategy and Corporate training makes him an effective problem solver and excellent facilitator.
